Update: Even Mother Cats Know What To Do

Yesterday, mama cat came back and got her kittens and took them to their new home (where ever that shall be). She hopped over the fence, lined up all her kittens and gave the charge. She hopped over the fence and the rest of her family crawled under.

They made it to the neighbor's house when mama noticed one of them hung back. Mama came back, picked up the straggler by the back of the neck and took them on their way.

It just goes to show, you don't need too much outside information to know what you should do. Stick with your instincts and what you were brought up to do and go for it.
